JLU and Wizcraft International partner to launch 'Jagran Wizcraft MIME School of Entertainment & Events'.

‘Jagran Wizcraft MIME School of Entertainment & Events’ will offer experience-based Programs, with exposure to flagship properties such as IIFA, GiMA, Guild Awards.

Jagran Lakecity University (JLU), central India’s number one university and Wizcraft MIME, India's leading communication and entertainment company, inked an MoU today to launch Central India’s first entertainment and events school viz 'Jagran Wizcraft MIME School of Entertainment and Events'. The school will operate under the  umbrella of university’s flagship Faculty of Journalism and Creative studies and shall offer a distinct model of hands-on learning with strong focus on industry and global engagement in the entertainment & events space. With a commitment of preparing the next generation of creative thinkers and practitioners, the key UG & PG programs under this School, are industry-focused, practice-based and taught by a specialist community of leading practitioners.

Speaking on the occasion, the Keynote Speaker for the event, renowned filmmaker and legend Mr. Subhas Ghai congratulated Jagran Lakecity University & Wizcraft for coming together to set up much needed university led degree programmes and a dedicated School for Entertainment & Event. While Mr. Ghai joined the session Live from Mumbai, Mr. Sabbas Joseph Co-Founder, and Director, Wizcraft International Entertainment, Ms.Sushma Gaikwad, Co-Founder Wizcraft MIME, and Mr.Gitikka Ganju Dhar, awarded Anchor, Actor and celebrity graced the occasion with their presence at the University campus.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sabbas Joseph, Co-Founder and Director, Wizcraft International Entertainment, and leader of the Rs. 10,000 crore Event Management industry, said “Wizcraft is now focused on developing the next generation of event industry specialists helping educate the next-gen, and develop skills that the earlier generation only learnt through on-the-job project work. We hope to take this vision that is driven by Wizcraft MIME, to a new level and I am excited to partner with Jagran Lakecity University, which has already carved a niche for itself in India, with an excellent track record of academic innovation and practice-based pedagogy. It would be a unique educational and practice School, which will bring the best of the world of entertainment& events to India.”

Jagran Wizcraft MIME School of Entertainment& Events will offer BA (Hons) - Entertainment and Events and MA – Entertainment&Events, that will involve a global network of creative media professionals, regular communication and events initiatives, professional development opportunities and platforms to connect with the industry.
