August 15th 1947 was the day the Indian tricolour was raised and independent India was born. The flag was raised by the leaders of a nation who were rupturing with excitement to begin a life of absolute liberty from their colonial governors. Today, almost 71 years later, rejoicing Independence Day summons a similar spirit of patriotism. Nourishing raw talents in a form that proffers virtuous natives of them, contributing to the nation's growth, and prosperity is an art in itself and with education being the soul of it.

The Independence Day at Jagran Lakecity University, Bhopal was ballyhooed with patriotic fervour, where Shri. Hari Mohan Gupta, Chancellor, JLU partook his views on true independence.
